In 2023 I made my 4th visit to Bangkok. I’m getting pretty familiar with the place – it’s like the Dublin of south east Asia. Though a bit warmer. The first time you arrive, it is something of an assault on the sense, now it’s where I’d fly to for the start of a regional tour, spend a few days on a photo walk or a wee excursion. I’ve used black and white film there in the past, this year it was colour – on the Lumix GX80 with a few zoom and prime lenses. The basic Lumix and Olympus ones – not the OM pro and Leica type..
There’s the obvious tropes such as street food
And then transport, Bangkok style
The Bangkok skyline(s)
And life on the streets and spaces.
