Apparently ceremonial guard changing is global touristy thing where military guards (no doubt crack special forces types on non-ceremonial days) change shifts in rather over-elaborate choreography while wearing distinctive tourist-friendly traditional uniform. In Athens the guards are called Evzones, look delightful and have some rockin’ moves.
The shift-change is hourly at the Presidential Palace and here at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.
Of course, the aim is to get some leg symmetry – Athens style.
