For March’s FFP roll, it was closer to home – Belfast for the St Patrick’s Day parade. An overcast day putting some limits of shutter speed with the Kentmere 100 and the big challenge for me and I may ageing eyes – manual focussing an a close moving parade. Landscapes and a tripod would be so much easier.

But the St Paddy’s day parade it was and for those watching in black and white, we were all wearing green.

And after the parade.

That was the March roll usables. Digital, a fast zoom and autofocus with burst mode may have been a smarter option but a manual M42 camera, the cheapest UK black and white film and an old 50mm 1.8 lens did the trick. not even using a green filter.
